Are gelatin and collagen hydrolysate absorbed as such or broken down in amino acids?
Gelatine and collagen its is usually broken down as amino acids in the body when consumed. Whereas as an intravenous medicin it is delivered as amino acids. Compared to a medical patch (as medical device) it would bounded between the amino acis.
Thanks! But gelatin and collagen are recommended as supplements, but that is fake then because it will be amino acids anyway
