We did mating assays using Carolina´s pGreen plasmid and were successful. However, the reviewer is asking us for the replicon of this plasmid and this information is not available. Please if anyone has this data or the complete sequence would be so useful for us.

According to the seller's website it 4528bp long. Usually the origin of replication is close to the resistance marker in common plasmid backbones. I would suggest you sequence out from the amp marker in either direction to get what you want. Moreover, the plasmid is fairly small (4528bp). Using primer walking you should be able to sequence all it easily without much cost.

pGreeen from Carolina Biologicals is a avGFP variant called sg25. https://www.fpbase.org/protein/7ZG25/ Reference article in the webpage above, corresponding patent expired in 2016 (https://patents.google.com/patent/US6027881A/en). Thanks to Tom Randall and Avery Louie for sharing the Sanger sequencing files. I have not been able to determine the sequence of the vector backbone and the promoter used. See below the vector map.
