I want to know the use frequencies (in final application, not during the test )of different bio-based products like edible film, scaffold, micro-capsules for drug delivery.
Your question is still a big question mark? any how it depend on the nature of the polymers you are using to prepare a film/scaffold. I mean if you are using a completely hydrophilic polymer like PEG, PGA, etc they vanish in no time so the drug delivery also very quick and whole drug delivers with in no time. So in this case you need to give frequent doses. If you are going for partial hydrophobic polymers like PLA, degradation rate also slow and the drug delivery also will be slow...I think you understood the concept..so it depend upon what material you would like to adapt..
By use frequency I mean for e.g heart valves have use frequency of 1.2 Hz, contact lens-16 Hz, air bag opening-10k Hz. Like that what is it for edible films or scaffold.
