Recently I watched DW documentary on manufacturing ignorance, or shall I put it on producing strategic ignorance here

I was particularly appalled with the story of research of effects of estrogenic components of plastic, bisphenol-A. France is the only country to date to ban the production at least of baby bottles..but what about toys, food packaging, and other ever-present plastic?
