Hi, I want to esterify triglycine, the methodology I'm trying to follow indicates the use of thionyl chloride reagent. The thing is this is not sold in my country so I'm looking for a substitute. I would appreciate your recommendations

You can try to use the acetylchloride-Methanol system for the esterification of triglycerine. see the attached paper.

You can try to use the H2SO4-Methanol system for the esterification of triglycine hopefully it works.
Would you be able to get hold of TMS chloride and use this as an anhydrous source of HCL for the esterification.
