Dear researchers,
I am new to protein modelling and currently using I-TASSER4.4 (stand-alone) to model a database of proteins. The problem is i am unable to successfully download the library files and whenever i run the script- ./runI-TASSER.pl, i get the following error.
Your library files are not complete, please download library with the script download_lib.pl
Has anyone ever encountered the same error? Could anyone point to the mistake i am making? I also tried downloading the files using wget but it says -failed: Connection timed out.
Please share your valuable suggestions. Thank you in advance.
If you are unable to successfully download the library files (as you said in your query) it is obvious that ITASSER will complain about the incomplete library files.
You need to successfully download the library files first and then try again.
one note: extract all the library files in one directory (following directories should be in one directory: CNT; DEP; dotProfiles; MTX; PDB; SIG; stride and summary)

Thanks for your response, but i had already done that.
For peptides, try the latest published peptide structure prediction method PEPstrMOD (http://osddlinux.osdd.net/raghava/pepstrmod/) which can also handle modified residues in the peptides. (like D-amino acids, non-natural residues, PTMs etc)
