Hi, i am working with a few members of the src family (Lyn, fyn,blk) and was wondering if anyone can suggest a good inhibitor which can target the src family. Most of the ones on market are specific either for src or src/abl or yes/hck or just Lyn. Alternatively does anyone know if these available inhibitors work for all members of the src family. Lastly, can anyone suggest any companies which might provide a free trial sample? I know Peprotech does it for cytokines and growth factors..
On a related note, has anyone heard of the UCS15A or works with Sh3 domain inhibitors?

We used the SU6656 for our sperm. It worked well for us.I hope it fits your needs!

In the past our lab has used SU6656 as well and it works to block src activity in vivo in rats systemically. We also used PP2 from calbiochem/millipore as another means to inhibit src activity. The useful thing about PP2 is that there is also an inactive analog PP3 that can be used as a negative control for your experiments.
