I am planning an experiment where I've to detect cells which are expressing TetR, my vector is so big that I can't have a reporter in it. I was thinking if I can detect the expression of TetR itself. Please share your views on it and let me know if have ever used an antibody for TetR on sections.

Hi Reshma,
As far as I know; TetR antibodies work in any species where the TetR system is being used to regulate gene expression in mammalian cells and suitable for IHC and WB application.
