Hi, does anyone know a good SaCas9 antibody for IHC or immunofluorescence on mouse brain slides? We gave a try with the Epigenetek monoclonal antibody (A-9001) without antigen retrieval (1:500) and did not get any signals. Since we do not have a positive control we do not know if the virus was not expressed or the antibody did not work. Would be great if someone has any recommendations for one that works robustly.
A related question is that does spCas9 antibody works for saCas9? The 2 only shares about 17% sequence identity so I would imagine the answer is no?

Try antigen retrieval and include a control with another antibody from mouse in order to know if your anti-mouse detection system works.
Do you have access to any other tissue where SaCas9 has been successfully used?
