I am looking for published literature on fractional-step or projection schemes for solid mechanics problems with solid-solid contact.
I have been searching online for a couple of months but did not find any material on this topic.

OK, i see, concerning the contact constraints, i am not sure about the obvious reason to do.
Petr Henyš Exactly my thoughts! Since fractional-step schemes have been applied to solid mechanics problems, I have been thinking about how the contacts can be added to these schemes (especially without messy formulations). I could not come up with any elegant and simple enough approach. I was wondering if anybody done so, but there does not seem be any published research.
