I am looking for APJ receptor antibody for immunofluorescence in paraffin embedded coronary arterial tissue sections. Abcam discontinued the APJ antibody which used to work for us. Alomone labs have the APJ antibody and I would like to know if anyone have experience of working with alomone labs antibodies?

I was going to recommend a product by Novus Biologicals (as I have had positive experience with their products, but not used it personally....and also many of them are sold/distributed by Abcam).
However, I saw that Alomone Labs does offer a FREE 25uL sample of your antibody of interest. I'd take them up on that offer in a heartbeat. It's always nice to test something out before committing $300-400 on a product that may not work for your application.
I'd love to hear how your experience goes with Alomone. So, please update the thread if you decide to give them a chance. I'm always looking for additional reliable sources of Abs.

I have had good luck with alomone antibodies. I have used their antibodies for angiotensin type two receptor (AT2R) and alpha EnaC. Both worked really well. Plus they both came with the blocking peptide control which is nice. They are a little more on the expensive side but definitely worth a try. Especially if you can get the free 25 uL sample to test prior to buying the larger amount.
Alomone labs usually produce polyclonal antibodies therefore you maybhave some concerns regarding their specificity.
