I assume it will be difficult to reproduce the kit's standard conditions when you buy the individual reagents.

I have been using individual reagents purchased from Sigma or Cayman. They work just as well. Make sure to make stocks and aliquot them in the freezer. Use them once and discard.

Hi Joel James , if you don't mind me asking, would you mind sharing the catalog numbers of the reagents you've used? I've been looking into buying my own reagents and struck by 1) the stark difference in price between millipore and cayman and 2) slight differences in compound mixture between the companies. Any advice would be welcome! :)
