Hi,

I used simpleFoam and found the discharge through the outlet boundary face using the swak4Foam utility.

I now want to extend the same to interFoam solver where i use two fluids and thereby i need to know both the fluids discharge through the outlet boundary face. Once a steady state is reached, i have a constant outflow at the outlet which means i have the discharge and i can multiply with the weighted average of alpha1{fluid 1 volume fraction at outlet boundary face} to know the respective volumes of discharge.

But does anyone have a clue how can i find the alpha value at the surface of the boundary in interfoam.

Thanks;

Saideep
