Hello researchers!!
I have a question using the method SCLSVOF{ coupled level set and volume of fluid method}.
As interFOAM's representation of interface between two immiscible fluids is not clear due to spurious currents etc.., I was trying to overcome this drawback using LSVOF method.
My question: The level set function is calculated from the VOF's function in order to conserve mass. Once level set function is obtained finding, the normal, interface curvature, capillary forces are more precise and accurate. But the basic idea of developing a level set function from an VOF function which is smeared out and nonphysical at times is my problem. How can we ensure we have a sharp interface between fluids?
Any idea of how to overcome this issue,
