Hi everyone, recently our lab start to use pig as our animal model, but we have difficulty in finding antibody for pigs to do WB and IHC. Can someone give me some information about antibodies that can be used for pigs. BTW, our sample is blood vessels
I'm intrested to your work too, can you tell me how to get your blood vessel samples ? the blood vessel is hard to separate from small animals. your experiment material is from pig or cultered blood vessel ?
Our samples is from pigs. They are quite large animals compared with rat or mice. We just dissect the blood vessels from the animal after the animals being sacrified. I'm not sure you just want to separate the blood vessels or you want to culture the vessels in vitro?
We also concern about large animal models such as pig, it looks like hard to establish a research system as traditional animial models.may be some abroad lab or company can solve this problem.To my question is how to separate the blood vessels and how to culture tem in vitro.I've search in pubmed for culture blood vessel in vitro but there is no satisfied papers about this technology.
