Thanks for the reply. It is 2D domain, but i am unable to catch area concept, because flow area should be same (if i am correct). If needed i can send screenshot. To be precise with problem,

Inlet 1000 bar

outlet 1 bar

nozzle inlet (22 mm dia)

nozzle length(18 mm)

nozzle exit (11 mm)

theoretical 1D mass flow rate approx 23 kg/s

ansys 480 kg/s at inlet and 20000 kg/s at the outlet

Use mass flow rate at inlet instead of pressure inlet , that's it.

Also consider your gas calculating method at material selection , does it real or ideal gas.The temperature also effect the calculation Pv=mRT.

you have used pressure inlet with wrong total pressure , mdot=CdP0At , Cd is discharge coeff, or you have to use Mass flow rate inlet as a boundary layer condition

You have circular cross section inlets and outlets. But from the image you've provided, it doesn't look like you've assigned a 2D axisymmetric boundary condition. If that's the case, Fluent is assuming a rectangular c/s for calculating area I presume.

Specifying the mass flow rate instead of pressure inlet would fix the problem anyway.
