I’ve recently received a private message on ResearchGate from a researcher I follow (but who doesn’t follow me back). As many of you know, due to the recent changes in ResearchGate's messaging policies, I can’t reply directly unless the other person follows me too.

Does anyone know if there’s a way around this, or how best to handle this kind of situation? I’d appreciate any suggestions.
