Alcoholic and aqueous extraction of mushroom?

Hi all,

I am currently working on compounds extractions from an edible mushroom and after rounds of alcoholic (ethanolic extraction), I notice the yields was quite low. I am using 100% ethanol to extract and I am using 1g in 10mL ethanol to extract.

Apart from increasing the amount of mushroom powder (>1g/10mL ethanol), is there any way to increase the extraction yields?
