I am wanting to perform cell based SELEX with an adherent cell line. Previous studies have described removing cells after incubation with a cell scraper. I want to prevent performing SELEX with my cells in suspension because that would require me to use an enzymatic dissociation solution such as TryplE that risk removing surface proteins which are my selection targets. I am wondering if there is any way I can perform SELEX with my cells in adhesion and retain specific sequences without the need to dissociate the cells.
