Do you know a simple method (excluding chromatographic methods) to quantitatively analyze the content of sucrose in the product. I would really appreciate it if you can give me the procedure (references). Thanks.

Without HPLC it will be difficult to separate sucrose from other di and oligosaccharides if present. If you have i.e. suagr beet or sugar cane juice you can use polarimetry as described by ICUMSA (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/B9781483228327500071). Otherwise it will be difficult without LC.
Thank you Witold....I did analyze using titration method but the result is negative or undetected (limit detection).
If you don't need to separate oligosaccharides, you can use enzymatic assay. Most of them have been developped to determine glucose/fructose and sucrose. Kit are already cheap and use for many essay in plants sciences. You can find it from many sciences companies as sigma aldrich (http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/technical-documents/protocols/biology/glucose-sucrose-assay-kit-mak013.html ; http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jsfa.1005/pdf). Even physical determination like polarimetry or refractometry could be use ... you just need to know some conversion table ( http://hortsci.ashspublications.org/content/42/1/57.full).
