I have tried monoclonal and polyclonal and while they work well on paraffin fixed tissue they do not seem to work on fixed frozen, even after antigen retrieval.

I have yet to try other tight junction markers so this could be a useful alternative if I can't optimise my Claudin 5!

Hi Sophie,

I did this IHC several months ago on fresh frozen rat brain sections. Two claudin-5 antibodies were fine on these tissue: one without citrate buffer antigen retrieval from Sigma (SAB4502981) and one with antigen retrieval from ThermoFischer (35-2500).
