Usually while performing this conversion from ppm to mg/m3, a molecular weight is required. For a reading of TVOC, we cannot use a single molecular weight. Is there any method to convert these readings now?
I'm afraid you will have to calculate the entire molecular weight of the molecules you found if you want to convert ppm to mg m-3. That, I believe, is not the purpose of using a TVOC analyzer, therefore you can rethink about the decision to convert your values.
The risk of exposure is rather specific, but Tvoc is a total signal that must be related to emission source by standard methods. Often MW of propane is in use, but this may underestimate exposure to a specific compound. https://www.pca.state.mn.us/sites/default/files/aq2-26.pdf
If no one request that, why you need to convert the unit. The best way is to read the manual of your instrument carefully. See how it works, like based on the carbon numbers? However, if you really want to do it, you can prepare a series of propane samples and build a relationship between your reading and its concentration. Then, you know how to convert from one to the other.
