I am working on a Fluid structure interaction problem, I am using ANSYS.
Following their user guide, I successfully built the project schematic .
My question is related to setting the physics in both transient and fluid sides:
The load is Pressure, so where to set the load? in the 2017 manual they said that the load is inserted in the transient side but in the example set in 2021 they did not mention anything about the project schematic yet they mention that the Load should be expressed in fluid side ?!!!
if any one knows the solution or have like advices on good practices to follow or a detailed guide, this will be a great to share
I think if you add the pressure in the transient structural then you would have to imput the solution of B to the setup of C.
I agree to what Balakrishnan Devarajan said. You need to first apply load in transient structural(B) and then take the solution of structural to the setup of fluid flow simulation (C) in order to see the effect of structural deformation arising due to the load applied to the geometry while carrying out CFD simulations.

In 1-way FSI, you should import the pressure to static structural yourself, but in 2-way FSI, you should connect the two setups (one from fluent and one from transient structural) to the system coupling and the system coupling transmits the pressure and displacement between fluid and solid.
