I have green synthesized ZnO NP and need to dissolve in distilled water for seed treatments. But i could not prepare 1000ppm solution as ZnO NP get sediment. Used CTAB and sonication bath also but unable to dissolve at the concentration of 1000ppm.
what is the maximum concentration i could dissolve in distilled water without any other surfactant.
what are the surfactant i could you to dissolve ZnO NP and what volume or concentration.

Try to calcinate ZnO NPs at 400 °C for 4-5 hrs, and then dissolve the powder in glycerol with sonication for 20 min.

The ZnO NP is already calcinated in 500C for 2 hours. And the objective of the attempt to use for germination test, so glycerol is unavailable to use. Instead I was advised to use sonicated suspension. Thank you very much
Through my experiments, I observed that dissolving of ZnO NPs in water even the little concentrations with sonication was so scarce. So, I used a mixture of glycerol and water (4:1) or DMSO and water (1:1)
