In Nigeria today due to lack of jobs/employment many youths have joined politics without any experience in the civil service nor in the private sector to prepare them for the most onerious job unlike their counterparts in the western europe, asia, usa and others (egs:Barak Obama of America, Macron of France, PMs of Canada and Italy ,etc. COULD IT BE HEALTHY FOR African leadership in the times generally and for Nigeria, in particular?

It is good that young Nigerians are thinking to attain the top most job. It will make aware and compel the politician to do good for the civilians.

Presently Nigeria politics is the type no country may like to emulate nor the type our fore father will be happy with. Young? At 56? That is not what they call young in the western world. You may use the world younger than... I think old or young, what Nigeria and Nigerians need is relatively clean man who can get the job done. How I wish the common man has the courage and stop electing people of questionable character into the office.
I feel that experience, mentoring and gradualism help one to develop as a matured leader.
