there are concerns about galvanic corrosion when duplex stainless steels are in contact, in the presence of humidity, with other metals such as stainless steel, carbon steel, galvanized steel, copper and brass. However, duplex stainless steel is not typically attacked in this way since it is usually the most noble material in the galvanic couple. Of course, the corrosive environment and the differences in material areas play a fundamental role.
Galvanic corrosion of the less noble material can usually be prevented with proper design and by electrically insulating dissimilar metals.

Ted, let me know where you are going to use the assembly of SS with the Duplex SS. Also which SS, you are using with the Duplex? if possible send me the photo or drawing of the assembly.
