at home, we tend to work lying down. I like to take the computer and work in bed. put myself in a chair and the computer on my lap.

I have to change my chair to have a comfortable chair for working 10 hours a day at home. What type of chair?

Dear A. Kettab, for such long hours I would recommend both seat cushion and backrest cushion in addition to a footrest (stool) to alternatively relief pressure on both feet. Also, please take short breaks in between (take 10 min break every 1 hour or whenever you feel tired). During breaks you can walk, stand, stretch, or even make a phone call. I hope that helps! Dear A. Kettab, our bodies like to move! It is recommended to change your body position while working. It is okay to work from bed; however, try to change your sitting/lying posture and do not be static in a one posture for long time to avoid any sores/spasms/discomfort. Take home message here: being dynamic is key!

Dear Rosana Gonçalves Barros please make sure that your chair backrest supports your back entirely. Use a back cushion. Position your monitor so the top of it is about eye level. Make sure that the monitor is exactly infront of you. Movement is key! Stretch, stand, and walk indoor every 30-45 minutes or whenever you feel tired. Stay well!
