Dear colleague, this information was based on data presented by prof. Graser in Copenhagen (TIMM 2013) - they are based on multigene phylogeny that is in preparation (K. Dukik, SG de Hoog et al.).
Current concept of T. interdigitale is relatively broad and this species includes antropophillic (white, aerial colonies, usually with yellow reverse; causing tinea pedis and t. unguium) as well as zoophilic strains (designated in the past as T. mentagrophytes; with brown and granular colonies; usually causing t. corporis; these infections are transmitted mostly from animals).
Based on mol-gen. data and morphological and also clinical support, it has been proposed that these two entities could have different names - T. interdigitale for antropophillic strains and T. granulosum for zoophillic strains. These changes are however unpublished and it was only proposal. You may notice that this information was mentioned with question mark in our review paper.
My own opinion on this probable future change is not clear-cut. I see some benefits as well as some negatives. If you want, we can discuss it more deeply.

Thank you for your answer. So, we wait for multigene phylogeny-based decision by Dukik and coauthors. I will not try to take part in taxonomic discussions because it is not my area of research.
I would like to point out to the fact, that phylogenetically defined zoophilic (ITS types III, III* and IV) and antropophylic (I and II) T. interdigitale do not differ by morphology, as shown in the table 1 of Heidemann et al. 2010. Do you reject phylogeny-based conceptions of anthropophylic and zoophylic T. interdigitale? In your paper "Současný vývoj v taxonomii dermatofytů..." (2014) you follow morphological way of distinction, but this is in confrontation with your Obr. 1, with phylogenetic conception shown.
