I have graphene dispersed in 500mL Water-SC solution. I am trying to make ink out of it. To increase the concentration, I am planning to evaporate the solution to 50-70 mL. Will the individual graphene nano sheets aggregate together in this process?
Your dispersed system with graphene in water with a cholate will be less stable than in a hydrocarbon solvent. When the water evaporates and the concentration increases, the aggregation of particles will be greater. A good disperse system with oxidized carbon nanotubes was obtained in our laboratory. The system was stable without stratification for 6 months.
Thank you Sir. I just need them to be stabilized for some hours before filtering the nano sheets out. Actually I am trying to make graphene powder for making conductive ink which will be redispersed in with Ethyl Cellulose in Cyclohexanone-Terpineol mixture.
