I'd like to ask if you agree that the world needs NO money (in any form). Let me explain - Prices and earnings keep rising and always will if we keep using money. While money was vital in the past, continued increases in earnings and prices will ultimately lead to hyperinflation and worthless currency. This inevitability may be centuries away for the world as a whole but that doesn't mean we should ignore it today. We need to start preparations for a money-free world now ... rather than panic when our economic systems no longer serve us. The cooperation necessary to live without money might even lead to world peace.

Already there are no real back-up like gold bullions!! This has all been now already used up many times. There isn't any fiduciary to speak of hence present situation may actually much more worse drastically than Star Trek!!

Imo, it is not possible to set the clock back, i.e. transfer of value by money and prices. In this sense, Rodney Bartlett , I prefer to envisage monetary evolution on the eco-economic track. With respect to tech-know-logical feasibility, this is a pure matter of will, thought and wisdom, because we live in human-made systems, limited by the laws of nature.
Cooperation in a world without money could potentially lead to greater equity and reduced conflict, but it would not necessarily guarantee world peace. Peace depends on various factors, including effective conflict resolution mechanisms, cultural values, and political stability.
A cooperation for a world without money would encourage greater Social cohesion and reduce the instances of squabbles over resources. However, there are other factors that affect world peace such as political, cultural, and ideological differences.

Money is only s symbol of useable resources such as food. The present form of fiat money is only the more recent step from barter to gold to tobacco (and other forms of commodities). The development of money has allowed the advance of humanity to larger organizations. Barter is still found in the world- in tribal organization. The real quest is not going back but going forward. Without money today means going back to worldwide tribal organization and a reduction of human population by at least a factor of 10 (100,000,000 limit on WORLD population). In world tribes, WAR becomes very common, almost daily as one tribe wants food from another. as has been the history. AS long as nature (GOD) requires us to eat, cooperation without a population limit enforced by common understanding will be illusory. In the end Malthus will govern.
So, we need to evolve larger (1 world government) and that will mean a different solution to the distribution of resources mechanism which money now adjudicates.
