Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me understand this. The RIME protocol is a combination of ChIP with MS. In order to lyse the cells, they include 3 different lysis buffers that include EDTA in their composition, but when I go to the materials and reagents section, they suggest using EDTA-free protease inhibitor tablets.

My lab already has protease inhibitor tablets but with EDTA. I could just use those since the buffers will have EDTA anyways right?

I'm attaching the protocol here.

Thanks.
