Why the saturated magnetization decreases when iron nanoparticle is coated with Chitosan and increases when coated with CTAB?

I have synthesized the iron nanoparticle and coated with chitosan and Cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). After VSM analysis the value comes.

naked fe304 particle has MS=37.76 emu/g , MR =5.8emu/g and Hc =132.96

when coated with chitosan the MS value decreases about 9.27emu/g, MR=0.11 emu/g and Hc=12.89 G .

when coated with CTAB the MS increases about 51.6 emu/g , MR= 5.8 emu/g and Hc = 58.91.
