I Suggest that RG should give a list for the most read articles which have been read through the ended week in each field. Where the article that records more reading may reflect its importance in its specialization.
It's a good idea, but an interesting paper may be few read because the RG member has small number of followers or following, it influences, I think!

Good goods advertises itself without the need for a promoter
I have an experience in this concern, My last paper and through less than 3 weeks recorded more than 500 reads, in the same time I don't have a large followers.

I agree with this suggestion..
Right now RG shows most read articles of each researcher, department or institute but RG doesn't show the most read articles in a specific field.
