The basic problem is that 2D Correlation Spectroscopy has been a semi-quantitative for most of the time. It is very good to show that there are deviations from Beer's law/approximation, see, e.g., Article Beyond Beer’s Law: Quasi-Ideal Binary Liquid Mixtures
