I did the frequency analysis(selected buckle in linear perbutation ) , found the eigen value and gave the same as a load while again performing the analysis , this time selected general RICKS . I have not used plate at both ends and applying load as pressure and then selecting total force, selecting top both steel and concrete. bottom is encastered. then why RF value while plotting the graph and selecting the mid is showing zero. why the whole steel is blue . sometime when changing the load it is becoming green and having some value but not getting as per data i need. I have given the concrete damage plasticity details in model and perfectly plastic for steel . i have used surface to surface interaction betwween inner steel and outer concrete with friction penalty 0.25 and hard contact. I have also opted the history output field and have choosen the RF and displacment parameter in z direction . tryin to validate axial compressive test results.
Hi Mr. Verma,
Try to create a simple model for concrete only and notice the difference between the two models. If there is no difference, it seems that you have a problem in the definition of contact between steel and concrete. Thats why the steel did not work. Also try to check the contact stiffness.

you can get RF value from boundary conditions and if you want to see steel contours first just select steel parts in display group and then you can see plot contours.

I think the penalty 0.25 is small , you need to increase it. Also the stresses in the steel deducted by the S not RF.

sir i need to find out the load , for that i will have to choose S or RF , i want the load vs displacement graph of the whole cylinder. in that case i am choosing a point on steel and opting RF . I SHOULD OPT S ?
very good, So you can choose any point ( as you said ) and and determine the RF or S in every stage manually , and from this graph you can obtain any thing you want .

I retain from your discussion that you are trying to simulate the Rf properties of steel re-infroced concrete. If thats correct I would like to mention that early RF and microwave measurements (on steel fiber re-inforced conrete) were done in that direction in the late 70th and later some people came up and tried to advertise this concept as a great new idea under the name "smart or intelligent concrete" (some papers in IEEE EMC).In any case make sure that you take the frequency dependent mu value of the steel into account as well as surface roughness and rust.
Fritz Caspers Respected sir , thank you for giving that fruitful knowledge also i would like to add on that I am working on CFST (concrete filled steel column) , this concrete is not a reinforced one its a normal on , although researchers have worked on reinforced concrete also .
thus I probably got mislead by the term RF (which often stands for Radiofrequency) and displacement (which can be mechanical displacement but also displacement current in el mag terms
