The Semiconducting polymer is P3HT. Dielectric layer is PDMS and the electrode is PEDOT:PSS. FET structure is BCBG. Can someone give me some suggestions about this? Thank you!
Abdelhalim abdelnaby Zekry Thank you very much for answering my question! My electrode is not metal but polymer, does it still have ohmic contact? Or do you mean it is not ohmn contact, so it will show ambipolar properties? I am a little curious because P3HT is p type polymer so I don't know why it showed ambipolar property. Thank you for your help!
In order to get a decision about the symmetry of the ID-VG characteristics with the polarity of the gate voltage , you have to verify the type of contact between P3HT and PEDOT:PSS
I assume it behaved ohmic to show the observed behavior.
This is an important point which can be checked easily in addition to the C-V characteristics. With single measurement, you can not decide on conduction type.
