Women are generally involved in less stressful habits than their male counterparts.They also have better control of what they put into their body system in terms of good. and drinks.
There is no comparison between the external and internal applied load(s) on man and that on woman,beside that in many cases man facing different people per one day means more stresses meanwhile woman (not always) just has a direct touch with her family members like children, but they are still sharing the same amount of domestic responsibilities.

It’s not hard to see the gender gap among the elderly. A glance around most nursing homes or assisted living facilities in the U.S. often tells the story: women will usually outnumber men, and the magnitude of the difference is often striking. I’m also told that when a man moves into a residential setting dominated by the geriatric set, he tends to be popular; and that’s especially true if he still drives.
Advertisers know this as well. I recently saw an ad for an organization called “A Place for Mom” that helps families find assisted living or other services for senior citizens. And while they help men as well as women, the name of the company reflects how much bigger the elderly female market is.
So why do men, on average, die first?
There are many reasons why the ratio of men to women (which is roughly equal in young adulthood) starts to favor women over time. Among the most powerful factors? Men tend to

The uneven playing field for boys starts early. Many men only seek medical counsel when under duress from a spouse or when their condition has deteriorated to a severe state.
"Women are able to logically ask for help," says Legato, who has long promoted the concept of gender-specific medicine. "They're hardwired in the brain and very motivated."

There are many reasons why the ratio of men to women (almost equal in youth) is starting to rise in favor of # women over time. One of the strongest reasons is that men tend to:
1) carries greater risk
Part of this reason seems to be "biological fate", where the frontal lobe of the brain is the part that controls the issues of judging things and considering the consequences of any actions, which develops more slowly in # boys and # young men than their female counterparts. This would contribute to the fact that more boys and men die in accidents or violence than girls and women.
Examples include motorcycle accidents, drunk driving, and murders in fights.
2) They have more serious functions
Men outnumber women in some of the most dangerous professions, including military battles, firefighting, and work at construction sites.

Men, on average, die about five years earlier than women. Men’s behavior plays a huge role in why they tend to die younger, said Ronald Levant, a professor of psychology at the University of Akron in Ohio.
Some men who endorse and conform to “traditional masculine norms” have higher mortality rates. These norms include avoiding all things feminine, restricting the expression of emotions, dominance, extreme self-reliance and toughness. These “traditional” men also place a great deal of importance on sexuality and tend to have negative attitudes toward sexual minorities, Levant said.
“The norms of masculinity are something every boy and man in our society has to contend with because they are out there, they are promoted,” he said.
Baron Rogers, a Ph.D. psychology student at the University of Akron, recently completed a research study on African American men’s concepts of masculinity. He found out that these men embraced “traditional western masculine norms” that were hindered by the systemic barriers of racism.

Akshaykumari Jhala, I think you are overgeneralising here on the basis of assumptions and stereotypes. There are, of course, situations when women will "never showcase their feelings and emotions well" just as there are many times when men "know very well to ventilate their feelings and emotions". What is the evidence base for your statement? I think that your answer reduces the heterogeneity concerning the emotional response style of men and women and simplifies the complex factors that might be involved.
There ought to be some scientific reasons then the general perception that the life of a girl child first and women later is very difficult so they can take adversity better and men succumb to adversities.
When we see the health parameters in the developing countries then a large percentage of women are at a disadvantaged position as compared to the male counterpart. More women are anaemic, malnourished, not get medical attention, are denied the basic rights etc.
Despite this if it is happening then as stated by Feroz Khan Sir there have to be biological reasons besides other nature gifted reasons.

May be stress I saw it in my Dad , they cannot handle , not that I can :)
Generally men in my family died earlier than their wives.
The reason given in my family was mostly heart problems from doing harder work than women.

Loss of the male Y chromosome from the blood cells of older men may be the reason they don't live as long as women, new research has shown.
A study of 3,200 men found they were more at risk of developing Alzheimer's disease or cancer due to the loss of the Y chromosome (LOY).
Previous research has linked LOY with smoking and cancer.
These new findings suggest that LOY affects the immune system and leaves the body vulnerable to disease.
LOY only affects men, as women do not possess the chromosome and instead have two X types.
Lead researcher Professor Lars Forsberg, from the University of Uppsala in Sweden, said: "Having loss of Y is not 100% predictive that you will have either cancer or Alzheimer's.
"But in the future, loss of Y in blood cells can become a new biomarker for disease risk and perhaps evaluation can make a difference in detecting and treating problems early."
The scientists looked at the data of three populations of men, totaling more than 3,200 individuals, to investigate possible links between LOY and Alzheimer's.
Participants had an average age of 73 and around 17% showed evidence of LOY in blood cells, which increased the older they grew."...
