Dear RG Friends,i have seen in most of the countries the private universities are owned by businessmen not by academic experts.What do you think are the reasons in your country ? How can this scenario be changed,any ideas or suggestions?

in my country most of the private universities are owned by businessmen not by academicians .Experts are working for businessmen which is one of the reason of deterioration of education standards, they take more students per batch.group, there are deficiencies in labs and practical or clinical training.

Syed, this is a constant I'm afraid. I found, working in some myself (but never for long) that this can limit the quality of such institutions. I was appalled to see on occasion business men and women owners treat academics like lackeys.
