Science History is a continously changing curve...some periods called the golden age of Science were characterized by several inventations and findings that has contributed in a major way to the advencement of Science then and till now.

However, I think now that this golden age is over, at least I feel like the quality (value and frequency) of today's scientific findings has been limited.

So here, I want to know whether you share my opinion? and what are the reasons leading to this? The reasons for me are: the swtich in the scientific approach (from a purely objective, scientific one, doing science for the sake of science, to a more subjective one, doing science for the sake for my sake or the sake of certain groups and not others). The general belief about science and its importance in our lives, I think that many countries including developed ones don't invest much in science compared to other fields. The role of scientist nowdays is very limited, kind of when we need you we will call you (very perceptible with this coronavirus pandemic), apart from that we don't need to listen or discuss with you and by we I mean governments of the different countries all over the world.
