Hi, I'm attempting to produce aligned PCL fibres by electrospinning onto a rotating mandrel (up to 1500rpm, r = 25mm).  Rather than exhibiting any form of obvious alignment the only effect seems to be 'micro-coiling' (don't really know how else to describe it) instead of smooth/straight fibres.  Does anyone know what could cause this or which parameters I could alter to prevent it, please?  By the way I'm using chloroform/DMF as the solvent and spinning at 14%wt.
