hi, I'm investigating the effect of impact on the mobile cover which is made of hyperelastic rubber using explicit dynamic workbench. The curve of tensile test was fitted using 5 parameters Mooney- Rivilin model. the problem is that when the program runs the number of cycles exceeds 4e6 and the solution rate reaches 49% but running time is still zero, why? the attached file explains the problem.

The problem in Explicit dynamic analysis could be for no. of reasons. Could you please share you loading , time-step, amplitude curve etc. to get clear idea of your problem?
If the process is happening in milliseconds in reality , it is advisable to simulate explicitly or else i would suggest to use Implicit dynamic.

The run time in explicit analysis extremely depends on the step time.
For this reason the explicit analysis is suitable for problems with small time step (in the order of micro second), or else the problem will take a long time to be solved.
