I synthesized 1T/2H hybrid phase MoS2 on a graphite foil surface by hydrothermal method, and then analyzed it by Raman spectroscopy. As a result, three new peaks correspond to the 1T phase were found at 197, 222, and 353 cm-1 in MoS2 spectrum. However, I didn't found a peak correspond to E1g mode near 280cm-1. Some literature mentioned that E1g mode is forbidden under backscattering geometry according to its Raman tensor, but I don't know excatly what "backscattering geometry" means and how it affects it. Please let me know why E1g mode is undetectable. Wavelength and power of laser adopted are 532.0 nm and 1.3 mW, respectively. (measured Raman spectrum is attached)
