I'm working soil adsorption of antibiotic. Tetracycline showed a adsorption onto soil but for the other antibiotics and analgesics there was an increased of pharmaceutical concentration in the solution after the adsorption. (Ce>Co?) What could be the thing that causes this problem?

We have also observed some organic heat labile organic compounds absorbed on soil colloidal particles which were inhibitory to cyanobacterial growth on these soils. These compounds were excreted by a streptomyces spp. present in those soils. Further we have observed that clay minerals differ in their adsorption capacity and montmorillonite clays were most efficient in adsorption. May be this and the publications cited below will help to solve your questions.

First of all you should use control treatment in the adsorption study without antibiotics and/or analgesics. If you have a positive concentration here that means your soil has already adsorbed some amounts of the adsorbate which is loosely bound. The other point is what sort of bachground solution do you use?. The concentration and ionic species are also to influence adsorption /desorption behaviour of the adsorbate. It is better to control yor analysis method as well. you probably determine similar components in the soils in terms of molecular mass. you can use HPLC-MS-MS, GS MS-MS to confirm you are determining your analyte.
I think major factor causing increase of toxines in plants after absorption is through bio-concentration, although other factors like plant type, growth stage etc.
Regarding the adsorption on to soils to affect increase relates to the charged entities involved in adsorption, charges on soils, texture, mineral composition, OM and lime contents. All these combine to effect the thickness of DDL and stern layer, and extractability of the test ions under investigation.
In adsorption process both adsorbate and adsorbent nature and characteristics are important as highlighted by Veli and Dr.Ghafoor and Dr(.Ms) Sharma,respectively.
I agree with Dr.Veli to check the soil you used in your experiment. In addition, please check the data if the Ce is statistically higher than the Co.
