I studied to growth S.limacinum SR31 in artificial seawater included 10 g/L glucose and 1g/L NaNO3 as a nutrient source, some the flasks were turn to pink as shown the pictures.

I observed that the microorganism is so resistant to temperature (19-30 oC), salinity (1-3%), carbon (1-50 g/L) and nitrogen (0.1-4 g/L) concentration and starvation.
