I am investigating the influence of the Big Pharma in the society; some mental illnesses recently got over-diagnosed, and treatment of those mental illnesses 'happened to be' pharmaceutical. There are studies about the public perception on this matter, saying many members in many societies believe too many people are diagnosed with eg depression, while they don't have it (1). Yet it's rather difficult to find peer-reviewed evidence based studies, examining the matter with the Big Pharma in the focus.
