Hello! I need some help troubleshooting. I have attached a merged image below and I am wondering why my merge channels look pink but my red and blue channels look a nice red and a nice blue. Why does it do this? I don't know if it is how i'm taking the images or how it is being exported from the computer. Any help is appreciated!
can you send the original image and the channels before merging? let me try to merge them using some Matlab code
If I undersatand correctly, if the red and blue signal colocalized, it certainly become pink(or light purple). I didn't see any problem with this picture. If you want to separate them, you can just export individual channels in your image software.
This is normal when merging channels of different colors. The purple color indicates overlap of red and blue signals.
Another common example is the merge of red and green signals will appear yellow. This can be quiet useful to determine co-localization.
