I was trying to synthesize Ag-doped TiO2 nanoparticles. The XRD result shows that with increasing Ag doping percentage (from 0.5%-2%), crystallite size increase accordingly. For example Undoped TiO2 is 50 nm. and Doped TiO2 are 60, 70, 80, 90 nm respectively.
what can be the cause of this?
One of the reasons could be the atomic radius of Ag is higher than Ti.Hence, increasing Ag doping percentage from 0.5% to 2% will raise the crystalline size.

If I assume that you calcined your Ag doped TiO2 product at temperature 400oC or higher up to 600oC, you be in fully agreement with the results in [1]. Their results indicate that:
"The silver content augmentation promotes the TiO2 phase transformation from anatase to rutile and alters also the crystalline size of the final product. The crystallite sizes increased with increasing the silver dopant concentration (Fig. 2). Moreover, results indicate that 0.75 at % of doped silver amount content may be optimum, which can control the crystallite growth and agglomeration due to the grain–boundary pinning caused by dopant ions."

At higher pH, the surface of the adsorbent is negatively charged. This results in greater attraction for the complex positively charged cations in solution hence, the adsorption increases with increase in pH. This helps to migrated cations between voids due to ionic radius. Hence, it is used to increase their magnetic properties, well-ordered crystallite size and crystallinity and increase size.
