My work focuses on sexual response and explaining how and when female orgasm occurs. I provide a comprehensive explanation of human sexuality via my books (all of the content is available for free on my websites). I invite discussion of the issues that I raise. Very few people ever comment. What is most noticeable is that no one contributes to my ideas for how women can enjoy sex play with a lover. Everyone seems to assume that women’s sexual pleasure is encapsulated in the word intercourse.
Your work lacks a) reliable data and b) helpful input. There is hardly anything to comment on despite the evident lack of scientific methods applied. Quoting Kinsey won't do it. You should perhaps come up with standardized questionnaires or interviews and conduct them with a culturally diverse sample of women in different age groups. I can almost guarantee that you will generate much more interest in your work if you were to rely less on assumptions and anecdotal observations of singular individuals and instead provide comparable data that is free of bias and is not tainted by personal / biographical experiences (this is an assumption on my end, of course).
Personally - and while I might be going out on limb here, not being a woman after all - I imagine some of your conclusions to be quite offensive to many women who are very openly and effectively expressing their sexuality in an authentic manner. From what I can tell your supposed findings might apply to some individual realities, but assuming that they could be generalized in the way you actively word them to be - is quite simply preposterous.
If millions (or even billions) of women are supposed to experience orgasm with a lover, it is a little strange that I have not been able to find even one woman who can explain the basics of how these orgasms are achieved. Men are eager to comment on female sexuality given the silence from women but they also have no idea how these orgasms are achieved. No one can explain the erotic turn-ons involved in female arousal and the anatomy involved in female orgasm. Yet both seem to be abundantly clear for men. Strange don't you think...?
I cannot argue against your point of the physical, anatomical and social aspects of women’s orgasms still being severely understudied, in fact I strongly agree.
I will however call you out on stating that not one woman can explain the basics of how orgasms are achieved. No one talking to YOU about it does by no means imply that no one can or will talk about it.
To be clear, I don’t necessarily have an issue with the underlying questions you raise, but with the very patronizing and dogmatic way you word and express your thoughts ands perceptions as though they were observable facts. Plus, your work doesn’t adhere to any scientific standards whatsoever.
Lastly, in my reply I was for the most part referring to why I believe your work is not gaining traction and is not being interacted with. I stand by that. You provide a few interesting questions but you do very little to ACTUALLY answer them in a founded and scientific way and thus only contribute to maintain the very lack of research on the above mentioned topic which you seem to criticize in first place.
If millions of women are supposed to be having these porno orgasms then at least some of the should be able to talk about them. That is science. Assuming that women have orgasms that no one can explain is not scientific. Even men cannot explain how these orgasms are achieved. This is because they are emotional and not erotic phenomena. That is clear from the previous research. I am promoting the research that has been done and ignored because no one wants to accept the facts. I am promoting enjoyment of eroticism and differentiating between fiction and reality. I am asking sexologists to do the same.
