I am using DMEM-LG (low glucose) for osteogenic differentiation of stem cells. We know if we use DMEM with high glucose, stem cells are going to convert in to chondrocytes, but what is the exact mechanism associated behind this action of stem cells?
More ROS is generated in DMEM-HG than DMEM-LG, so high ROS may cause cell death or senescence so may cause slow growth. MSC suffering and doesn’t growth.
