use the Coupling Coincident Nodes Command (CPINTF) instead of gluing volumes

example : coupling of the displacement in the x direction (UX)

CPINTF,UX,0.0001e-3,   ! 0.0001e-3 is the tolerance

NB : use this command after meshing your volumes and selecting the nodes of the intefface with the NSEL command

After creating the mesh using solid 65 elements, you have to filter the nodes in that corresponding location, and u have to manually create the link elements from the nodes created by the solid mesh. I hope this answer will be helpful for you.
